I am an enthusiastic teacher, advocate and practitioner of Pilates with a great passion for helping people achieve their goals. I draw on a wealth of life experience having previously solved problems and managed projects for IBM in Paris, an art gallery in London, a theatre in Wellington and the New Zealand Parliament. This experience, combined with my STOTT PILATES® qualifications and many years teaching Pilates, has enabled me to understand how modern life severely impacts on all our bodies.
I love to see those ‘aha! moments’ when I help people reconnect with their long-lost abs, or perhaps learn to relax their shoulders, teaching them how to incorporate these movements into their everyday lives.
As my client, I will keep you focused with my high attention to detail – but don’t worry, the hard work is well balanced with laughter. It’s so true that we learn best when having fun.
I am able to work with anyone who wants to improve their body, and I have helped people with conditions including persistent lower back pain, chronic neck/shoulder tension, migraines, hip replacements, single/double mastectomies, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulders, sciatica, prolapsed discs and facet joint syndrome.
In my classes you will enjoy testing your limits both physically and mentally while improving your strength and flexibility. You will also improve your body awareness, posture and ease of movement. You’ll leave feeling energised and in control of your body.
